Malaysian Journal of Pharmacy (MJP) is a professional journal with an registered International Standard Serial Number ISSN 1675 – 3666 covering various aspects of pharmacy. It is published by, and is the official journal of the Malaysian Pharmacists Society on a yearly basis (2014-2020). Since 2021, It has been published twice yearly to cover the rapid advancement of healthcare discoveries in Malaysia.
Aims and Scope
Malaysian Journal of Pharmacy (MJP) is a global academic journal dedicated to publishing top-tier research that employs transdisciplinary approaches, focusing on the discipline of Pharmaceutics, Clinical pharmacy, Pharmacy practice, Health economics, Social administrative pharmacy, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical chemistry and related topics. The journal aims to keep pharmacists, scientists, and other healthcare professionals in related areas connected to the profession while encouraging research and publication. This fosters closer personal and research-oriented relationships within the scientific community.
The scope of the journal encompasses research conducted in clinical, community, laboratory-based, social-administrative, and pharmacy education settings. Submissions from academicians, pharmacy students (final year projects), pharmaceutical industrial researchers, and provisionally registered pharmacists (PRPs) undertaking mandatory research are highly encouraged. As part of our commitment to fostering scholarly communication and professional development, the Malaysian Journal of Pharmacy also publishes proceedings from academic and professional conferences related to pharmacy, pharmaceutical and health sciences. This initiative aims to highlight emerging research, key discussions, and new directions in the field, providing a comprehensive resource for researchers. Special issues may be considered for current hot topics. The Editors and the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society welcome diverse submissions, including short communications, original research articles, case studies, reviews, and book reviews, for publication in the Malaysian Journal of Pharmacy.
